Not Done Yet: Fossil Ridge High School
In only their fifth appearance at the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship, Fossil Ridge High School made history as they and claimed their school’s first-ever national championship title in 2019 in Large Varsity Division l.
Fossil Ridge went to Orlando with a goal of simply advancing to Finals for the first time with their traditional routine, but the team surpassed that goal and their big win marked the state of Colorado’s first-ever UCA National Championship title.
In 2020, the Colorado team returned to Orlando but this time in a new division. Fossil Ridge took on Medium Varsity Division I and finished in the top 10 out of an incredibly competitive division.
This season, Fossil Ridge High School was one of five school spirit programs chosen by fans to be a Cheerleader's Choice Champion. The SaberCats went into UCA Nationals with grateful hearts hoping to show the world what Fossil Ridge cheer is all about and the athletes represented their school with pride.
