In The Lead: Stars Vipers San Antonio Leads The D1 Teams In The League

The 2022-2023 all star season is officially underway and teams across the country are taking the competition floor to show off their new routines and see how they stack up against other competitors within their divisions.

This season, there is a new way for teams to find out how they compare against other teams across the country. The League by Varsity All Star is a season-long battle to the top that will crown champions and award $500K in awards and prizes!

The League divides the country into five regions and will compare teams based on age categories. The four age categories will be Youth, Junior, Senior, and Coed. Both regionally and nationally, The League will compare all teams across Levels in each age category and split by Division I and Division II.

That means DI Junior teams will compete against all other DI Junior teams, regardless of Level.

At each Varsity All Star event your team completes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value. At the end of the season, your top 5 Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final standing. In total, 120 winners will be recognized from 1st – 3rd place across each region. One champion will be crowned in each of the 5 regions across the 8 eligible divisions, meaning 40 champions will be awarded in total.

After the first few weeks of competitions where teams have been battling it out to earn points to The League, teams from Stars Vipers San Antionio are currently leading the DI Youth, Junior, Senior, and Coed divisions nationally in The League!

In DI Junior, Stars Vipers San Antonio currently has TWO teams tied for the top spot in the division! Rattler Reign in the L2 Junior division and FIERCE BOAS in the L4 Junior division are tied with 1,100 points to The League.

Will Stars Vipers be able to hold on to their top spot within The League standings as the season continues? We can't wait to find out!
