Elite cheer and dance events are about much more than just competition. They’re about making memories with friends, teammates and family, spending time in amazing locations and learning about sportsmanship.

We kicked off the month of December in the best way possible with 10 events streaming on Varsity TV! From school events to all star events there was definitely no shortage of action. The all star season continues to amp up, and this first first weekend of December was a great example of competitive excellence! It was also our first look at teams taking the stage at some of the first Grand National events of the season. There was some great routines at WSF Grand Nationals in Louisville, KY, Spirit Celebration Christmas Grand Nationals in Dallas, TX, and at Champion Cheer and Dance Grand Nationals in Baltimore, MD. Spirit of Hope Grand Nationals 2024 took place in Charlotte, North Carolina, last weekend and was a showdown! Teams from across the country battle for up to 600 points to The League 6 by Varsity All Star presented by Corksicle, National Champion titles, and bids to The Cheerleading Worlds 2024.

The month of December was a busy one for All Star cheerleaders all across the nation. 59 All Star Cheer competitions took place just in December alone! We saw programs across the country compete at Grand National events, Classics, Challenges, Showdowns, and even virtual events. Teams gave it their all on the competition mat walking away with first place wins, significant points towards The League by Varsity All Star, and some even won bids to The Cheerleading Worlds & The Summit. Here is a recap of the big events that went down in December and what Worlds-Level teams took home the highest scores.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and all star teams are getting in the holiday spirit as they prepare to take the stage at the 2023 Spirit Celebration Christmas Grand Nationals!

League 6 will kick into high drive this weekend for Level 6 teams competing at the season's first Varsity All Star Cheerleading Worlds Bid competitions. The three competitions on deck include the 2023 WSF Grand Nationals, Spirit Celebration Christmas Grand Nationals, and Champion Cheer and Dance Grand Nationals. WSF Grand Nationals and Spirit Celebration Christmas Grand Nationals are 600-point events, and Champion Cheer & Dance Grand Nationals is a 500-point event.
