NCA All-Star Nationals is in Dallas, Texas, this weekend, and all eyes are on the arena. Over 1,500 teams will take the mat at NCA, 56 of which will compete for points to The League by Varsity All Star presented by Corksicle in the League 6 All-Girl conference. The All-Girl League 6 conference consists of all level six senior-aged Worlds divisions. NCA 2024 will be the season's largest gathering for this conference, and we cannot wait to see it happen. 

NCA All-Star Nationals 2024 is the fourth 700-point League event of the season. There are only five 700-point events of the season, one in each region, and NCA represents the Southwest. Teams can win 700 points for first, 675 for second, 650 for third, and so on. (You can see the full point breakdown here). After NCA, USA All-Star Super Nationals will be the final 700-point event of the season. 

At the end of the season, the top three teams in each conference will win cash, prizes, banners, and more. The ranking considers the top six point values a team wins during the season. If a higher point value is won after the team competes six times, the lowest point value is replaced. 

The League 6 All-Girl conference will be well represented at this year’s NCA Nationals. The top five are attending, including Woodlands Elite Generals, South Coast Cheer Fearless, Spirit of Texas A-Team, Upper Merion All Stars Royals, and Cheers & More Lady Respect. 

Woodlands Elite Generals will compete to maintain the top spot, where they currently have 2,869 points. South Coast Cheer Fearless is close behind in second place with 2,800 points. A first, second, or third-place finish could help secure the top spot. Spirit of Texas A-Team currently sits in third with 2,699. Those three first-place teams compete in different divisions and could maintain their rankings with wins.

The League by Varsity All Star

The League by Varsity All Star is the official ranking system for the sport of All Star cheerleading, changing the conversation from “Who won the weekend?” to “Who ranks at the top this season?” 

Every team who competes at a Varsity All Star Event this season will be included in The League by Varsity All Star. Team rankings are determined by the Points System displayed here. At each Varsity All Star event your team completes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value. 

At the end of the season, your top 5 Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final rank. In total, 120 winners will be recognized from 1st – 3rd place across each region. One champion will be crowned in each of the 5 regions across the 8 eligible divisions, meaning 40 champions will be awarded in total. Champions will win cash and prizes!
