The school cheer regional season kicks off in earnest on October 19 with the UCA Space Center Regional, the first live-streamed event of the 2024-25 season.

High school and college cheerleading is more competitive than ever before. With new rule changes every season, teams can now push the bar on what they can perform on the competition floor while trying to maintain a level of perfection in hopes of securing a first-place win. Varsity TV is your one and only home for the major end-of-the-season college and high school championships. All Star Cheer returns to action this fall, starting October 26 with the Cheer Power San Antonio Halloween Challenge, with the chance for teams to start earning points in The Varsity Cheer League. The Varsity Cheer League is the best way to keep up with the best teams across the country. Keep track by visiting the Leaderboard to see the most up-to-date standings. Sort by League 6, D1 and D2, or region to see where teams are competing compared to the rest.

Don't know what we're talking about? The Varsity Cheer League is a season-long points race. Teams compete to finish in the top ranks of their division at events to earn the highest potential points. 

Different events have different maximum points values, with Super Nationals being the most impactful at 700 possible points for top-ranked teams. Teams are divided by D1 and D2, region, and League 6, a conference made up of level 6 teams.

The Varsity Cheer League weekly video series is your go-to for all the inside information on all things The Varsity Cheer League. During the competition season, the Varsity Cheer League weekly video series will drop an episode each event week, detailing all of the action in the All Star cheer world. Expect the latest on jumps in The Leaderboard, recapping the exciting moments across each region, heartfelt stories, and previewing what's to come at the next big event. 

700 Point Events:

This season Varsity Cheer League will feature five designated Super Nationals events in each region that will each be worth up to 700 points. 

• Northeast: January 11, 2025 - Spirit Cheer Super Nationals
• Midwest: January 18, 2025 - JAMfest Cheer Super Nationals
• Southeast: February 14, 2025 - CHEERSPORT National All Star Cheerleading Championship
• Southwest: March 1, 2025 - NCA All-Star National Championship
• West: March 21, 2025 - USA All Star Nationals

Varsity TV invests time and energy into making the original music available on as many performances as possible. We have recently expanded our capabilities significantly to offer more replays with sound for the upcoming season. Stay tuned for more information soon!

Video footage from the event will be archived and stored in a video library for Varsity subscribers to watch for the duration of their subscription.
