Competition season is officially underway and the first live-streamed event on Varsity TV kicks off the 2024-2025 season with the UCA Space Center Regional! We are keeping our eyes on the Medium Varsity DI and Large Varsity DI divisions this weekend in Huntsville, Alabama, as 7 teams in these two prestigious divisions hope to secure a bid to the 2025 UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship.

Every year, the Medium Varsity DI and Large Varsity DI Divisions bring top performances to the stage at NHSCC. But it all starts at a Regional event, where you have to earn a bid to head to the Walt Disney World Resort in February. Some of the top contenders year after year include 7 of the very teams that we will see this weekend at the UCA Space Center Regional. Independence, Rockvale, Hewitt-Trussville, and Summit High School will take on the Large Varsity DI division while Hendersonville, Ravenwood, and Desoto Central take on Medium Varsity DI.
