In 2024, the UCF Knights claimed their fourth Large Coed Cheerleading title at the UCA College Nationals in Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort. It was the third straight program from the state of Florida to do so. And a team from the Sunshine State will try to make it a fourth year at the 2025 UCA College Nationals that start on Jan. 17 at Disney.

The event is streaming live on Varsity TV and the new FloSports app. Thousands of athletes and hundreds of teams will compete for championships in both the UCA and UDA College Nationals over the weekend.

Three of the most premiere events of the weekend will be the Large Co-ed, All-Girl and Small Coed IA Division. 

The University of South Florida secured back-to-back titles in 2022 and 2023 to start the Florida run in the Large Coed division, but the University of Kentucky owns the record record of 25 overall championships. 

The University of Alabama and Indiana University have dominated in the All-girl categories, while the Small Coed division has seen the University of Memphis repeatedly dominate from 2019 to 2021.
