The 2025 Spirit Cheer Super Nationals, held from Jan. 11-12 at the Atlantic City Convention Center, showcased some of the best cheerleading talent in the country. 

Teams competed across multiple divisions, including L1, L2, L3, L4, and L5 categories, with standout performances from Cheer Force Athletics' Icons and Obsession, Supreme Loyalty Cheer’s Glitz & Glam, and Star Athletics' Neon.

Along with the competitive spirit, the event offered a wealth of bids to top-tier cheerleading events. Teams had the opportunity to earn two paid bids to The Cheerleading Worlds and four at-large bids, fueling the competition's excitement. Additionally, seven paid bids to The Summit were awarded, with one dedicated to the IASF division. All division winners received at-large bids to The Summit, ensuring diverse representation across categories.

The 2025 Super Nationals also awarded six paid bids to The D2 Summit, with at-large bids given to each division winner. The Youth Summit was another highlight, with two paid bids and at-large bids for the division champions. Furthermore, the event granted four paid bids to The Regional Summit—two for Division I and two for Division II—and top three finishers in eligible divisions earned at-large bids.

The competition continued to offer opportunities beyond these events, including five at-large bids to The Recreational Summit. The top three teams in bid-eligible divisions earned a Qualifier Bid to The Quest, while Golden Tickets to the U.S. Finals capped off an exciting weekend of cheerleading excellence.

The League by Varsity All Star

The League by Varsity All Star is the official ranking system for the sport of All Star cheerleading, changing the conversation from “Who won the weekend?” to “Who ranks at the top this season?”

Every team that competes at a Varsity All Star event this season will be included in The Varsity Cheer League.

Team rankings are determined by the points system displayed here. At each Varsity All Star event your team competes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value.

At the end of the season, your six best Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final rank.

In total, 128 winners will be recognized from first to third place across each region. 

One champion will be crowned in each of the five regions across the eight eligible divisions and two League 6 conferences, meaning 42 championships will be awarded in total. Champions will win cash and prizes!
