The Mid-Atlantic Championship Grand Nationals heads east to the Wildwoods Convention Center in Wildwood, New Jersey, and Varsity TV will be there to provide live coverage of the event from March 8-9.

The event will bring some West Coast flair to the East Coast and the Jersey Shore, where waves of young talent will compete for bids to a variety of national and international events.

The prep/rec/novice teams will take the stage Friday, while the elite teams steal the spotlight Saturday and Sunday.

What To Know About The Wildwoods Convention Center

In 2025, the Mid-Atlantic Championship Grand Nationals heads to the Wildwoods Convention Center in Wildwood, New Jersey, where competitors will get to enjoy top-tier competition, while being just a few feet from the beach and ocean.

The state-of-the-art convention center, which opened in 2002, is located along the Wildwoods Boardwalk and overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. 

The facility boasts 260,000 square feet of flexible space for conventions, trade shows, meetings, concerts, exhibits and sporting events. It’s broken up into exhibit space (72,000 square feet), ballroom (12,000 square feet) meeting space and a pre-function area.

Things To Do In Wildwood, New Jersey

There are few places as magical as the Jersey Shore, and this weekend in New Jersey for the Mid-Atlantic Championship Grand Nationals should give competitors and their guests the opportunity to enjoy some of the highlights – or as much as they can as the Garden State emerges from the winter.

The host venue is located along the Wildwoods Boardwalk and overlooks the beach and ocean. It’s close to thousands of hotel rooms and vacation rentals. 

Beyond the miles of beaches, the boardwalk itself spans 38 blocks and features shops, arcades, games, water rides, places to snack and dine and amusement piers with more than 100 rides and attractions. The first amusement pier opened in 1903, and the area has continued to evolve for more than 120 years.

The League by Varsity All Star

The League by Varsity All Star is the official ranking system for the sport of All Star cheerleading, changing the conversation from “Who won the weekend?” to “Who ranks at the top this season?”

Every team that competes at a Varsity All Star event this season will be included in The League by Varsity All Star.

Team rankings are determined by the points system displayed here. At each Varsity All Star event your team competes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value.

At the end of the season, your six best Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final rank.

In total, 128 winners will be recognized from first to third place across each region. 

One champion will be crowned in each of the five regions across the eight eligible divisions and two League 6 conferences, meaning 42 championships will be awarded in total. Champions will win cash and prizes!
