After a quiet February that only featured two competitions, American Championships Events is back in action for a busy March, including the 2025 The American Royale Sevierville Nationals on March 8-9.

The event heads to the Sevierville Convention Center in Sevierville, Tennessee, which already has hosted other cheer events during the 2024-2025 season.

The American Championships experience is about providing a top-notch experience for competitors, fans and judges, and the staff accomplishes that by working just as hard as the competitors.

Extra attention is given to creating the warm-up and competition areas, spectators being able to have a good view is a priority and there are state-of-the-art tools for the judges.

What To Know About The Sevierville Convention Center

The Sevierville Convention Center, with breathtaking views of the Smoky Mountains, is a traditional convention facility, highlighted by an exhibit hall that offers more than 108,000 square feet of space and can be split into two separate spaces, if needed.

Ballrooms, meetings rooms, a rotunda, on-site catering, a food court and ample parking make the venue versatile and convenient for events and guests – there’s even two golf courses right there, too, though that could be hit or miss in early December.

The hometown of country music star Dolly Parton, Sevierville, Tennessee, offers visitors the chance to enjoy the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains, a mountain range along the Tennessee-North Carolina border.

The League by Varsity All Star

The League by Varsity All Star is the official ranking system for the sport of All Star cheerleading, changing the conversation from “Who won the weekend?” to “Who ranks at the top this season?”

Every team that competes at a Varsity All Star event this season will be included in The League by Varsity All Star. 

Team rankings are determined by the points system displayed here. At each Varsity All Star event your team competes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value.

At the end of the season, your six best Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final rank.

In total, 128 winners will be recognized from first to third place across each region. 

One champion will be crowned in each of the five regions across the eight eligible divisions and two League 6 conferences, meaning 42 championships will be awarded in total. Champions will win cash and prizes!
