In 2025, USA All Star Cheer Super Nationals again heads west, this time to Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Convention Center.

As one of the premier cheer events on the West Coast each year, this prestigious competition traditionally attracts more than 7,000 athletes (from youth to college-age) and 15,000 spectators. 

The 2025 edition will see the competitors vie for the coveted titles across more than 100 divisions from March 21-23, and Varsity TV will be there to provide live coverage of it all!

USA All Star Cheer Super Nationals offers one final push before all of the end-of-season competitions take place.

The United Spirit Association debuted in 1950 and now produces a variety of national events for athletes of all ages and skill levels, from youth to college. USA All Star Cheer Super Nationals, the largest event in the western United States, began in 1995. 

The organization also is known for summer training camps that provide the ideal environment to learn and be creative and make lifelong friends.

What To Know About The Los Angeles Convention Center 

The Los Angeles Convention Center in located the vast downtown Los Angeles and plays host to an average of 300 events each year. 

The facility includes more than 867,000 square feet of space (five exhibit halls, 64 meeting rooms, outdoor space, 299-seat theater), an ideal location and flexibility for events of all kinds.

The convention center opened in 1971 and has been expanded three times – 1981, 1993 and 1997.

The 2025 edition of USA All Star Cheer Super Nationals brings competitors to Los Angeles, less than 50 miles from where many experienced the competition last year – Anaheim, California.

Los Angeles is a balanced mix of luxury meets practicality. There are more than 10,000 hotel rooms surrounding the Los Angeles Convention Center. There’s a 100-acre campus for meetings and entertainment. The journey to the airport is only 16 miles. There's a variety of unique neighborhoods. The sun shines more than 300 days a year.

While all of the great things from last year still are close enough to revisit or see for the first time, including Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure, Knott’s Berry Farm, Knott’s Soak City, Universal Studios Hollywood, Six Flags Magic Mountain, LEGOLAND California and SeaWorld San Diego, there still will be plenty to see in do in and around the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The League by Varsity All Star

The League by Varsity All Star is the official ranking system for the sport of All Star cheerleading, changing the conversation from “Who won the weekend?” to “Who ranks at the top this season?”

Every team that competes at a Varsity All Star event this season will be included in The League by Varsity All Star.

Team rankings are determined by the points system displayed here. At each Varsity All Star event your team competes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value.

At the end of the season, your six best Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final rank.

In total, 128 winners will be recognized from first to third place across each region. 

One champion will be crowned in each of the five regions across the eight eligible divisions and two League 6 conferences, meaning 42 championships will be awarded in total. Champions will win cash and prizes!
