The American Cheer & Dance Academy Reach the Beach Grand Nationals – DI/Worlds will call the East Coast home again in 2025 as it returns to the familiar Roland E. Powell Convention Center in Ocean City, Maryland.

Varsity TV will be there to provide live coverage of the event on March 29-30.

ACDA has been running events since 1991, with an emphasis on well-orchestrated events, but the organization also has found a unique look and feel with its beach-themed “Reach the Beach” national competitions. 

The ACDA Reach the Beach Grand Nationals DI/Worlds will be the third ACDA national event to be held in Ocean City in 2025, which has become tradition, joining the ACDA Reach the Beach Dance Grand Nationals (Feb. 22) and the ACDA Reach the Beach All-Star Grand Nationals – DII (Feb. 22-23).

Another popular feature of the ACDA events is Surfy the Spirit Shark, plus special awards and rewards, and vacation giveaways, all while focusing on fun and memories for competitors, coaches and supporters.

What can competitors and their guests expect if they haven’t been to the Roland E. Powell Convention Center in Ocean City, Maryland?

The convention center offers more than 250,000 square feet of exhibit and meeting space, used for a variety of events – car shows, concerts and entertainment, conventions – plus a new performing arts center that allows for even more variety.

The League by Varsity All Star

The League by Varsity All Star is the official ranking system for the sport of All Star cheerleading, changing the conversation from “Who won the weekend?” to “Who ranks at the top this season?”

Every team that competes at a Varsity All Star event this season will be included in The League by Varsity All Star.

Team rankings are determined by the points system displayed here. At each Varsity All Star event your team competes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value.

At the end of the season, your six best Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final rank.

In total, 128 winners will be recognized from first to third place across each region. 

One champion will be crowned in each of the five regions across the eight eligible divisions and two League 6 conferences, meaning 42 championships will be awarded in total. Champions will win cash and prizes!
