The first couple of weekends of what will be a very busy season for the Universal Cheerleaders Association are complete, but there’s still another 40 regional, virtual and challenge events on the calendar for the next three months.
Among them, is the 2025 UCA Houston Regional, one of four competitions happening the first weekend of November.
This year’s edition of the UCA Houston Regional returns to familiar territory – specifically, the Fort Bend Epicenter in Rosenberg, Texas – which is about 30 minutes from Houston.
The 2025 UCA regional season kicked off Oct. 18-19 and will feature events from California to Virginia and everywhere in between from now until the last week of January. After that, the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship at The Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida!
UCA is built on five decades of tradition, focused on the goal of bringing together the motivation and excitement of cheerleading and the entertainment of high-level skills and athleticism.
By having such a variety of events and a heavy schedule, teams are able to compete close to home and keep expenses down, while having the chance to qualify for the season-ending events.

What To Know About The Fort Bend Epicenter
The Fort Bend Epicenter opened in August 2023, and the $120 million state-of-the-art sports and entertainment venue has stayed busy with a variety of events, including multiple editions of the UCA Houston Regional.
The 2025 UCA Houston regional will take center stage Nov. 2, while another pair of cheer events – the NCA Lonestar Classic DI/DII (Varsity Spirit Cheer) and NCA Lonestar Regional – head to town shortly after, utilizing the facility on Nov. 15-16, respectively.
Other competitions and events on the venue’s upcoming schedule include college basketball, jiu jitsu and monster trucks.
The Fort Bend Epicenter is about 30 miles south of Houston, which is quite convenient for teams and fans flying in, and offers the chance to spend some extra time enjoying the culture, history, food and activities that make Space City so special.
The facility features a versatile 230,000 square feet of space, a 10,000-seat arena, five unique event spaces and an outdoor pavilion, and there’s nothing they don’t plan to host there, from cheerleading to graduations to concerts to professional wrestling to monster trucks.

Rosenburg, Texas, and Houston both have plenty of things to offer the cheer teams and their entourages when they’re in town for the 2025 UCA Houston Regional, including unique histories, great food, amazing Texas culture and countless events.
