Insider Info: 2025 JAMfest San Antonio Classic

There are many things All Star cheer teams can count on each year, including unforgettable moments, camaraderie, top-tier competition and amazing host cities.

One of the cities that has become a regular stop for cheer and dance teams is San Antonio, and Mission City again will open its doors for the JAMfest San Antonio Classic.

The 2025 edition of the San Antonio Classic will be held at Freeman Coliseum on Nov. 22, and all of the action will be broadcast live on Varsity TV!

Like many organizations and competitions, JAMfest offers a unique personality and themes that turn any competition stage into a high-energy environment focused on FUN.

Since the mid-1990s, JAMfest has been producing events across the globe, and one of the organization’s most noteworthy traditions is JAMMY, an inflatable mascot who makes a special appearance at each event to deliver the Spirt Award.

JAMfest events take place each year from coast to coast, along with a handful of international competitions.

Enjoy complete coverage of the event, as standout teams from Division I and Division II go head-to-head with their sights set on obtaining points to The Varsity Cheer League and a bid to one of the prestigious end-of-season championships!

What To Know About The Freeman Coliseum

San Antonio has become a hotspot for top-tier cheer and dance events, especially ones with themes, as the city recently played host for the Cheer Power San Antonio Halloween Challenge.

Now, it’s time for the 2025 JAMfest San Antonio Classic, guaranteed to be a rockin’ good time at the Freeman Coliseum, the former home of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo and the San Antonio Spurs home games, all of which now happen at the adjacent the Frost Bank Center.

The Coliseum itself, constructed in 1949, offers 32,000 square feet of space for events and 10,000 parking spaces for competitors, family and friends. Its versatility allows for sporting events, concerts, trade shows, the circus, bull riding and more.

The property, just northeast of downtown San Antonio, also includes the Freeman Exhibition Hall, and that provides another 170,000 square feet for additional events and activities.

For hoops fans who plan to arrive in town early, the San Antonio Spurs will be in town to play the Atlanta Hawks on Nov. 20, but they’ll be on the road during the weekend of the JAMfest San Antonio Classic.
