Insider Info: 2025 America's Best Indy Challenge

The annual America’s Best calendar may only feature a few events, but they’re some of the BEST and most memorable events of the year.

The five-event schedule kicks off Dec. 6 in Massachusetts, and the following weekend will see two cities share the spotlight – Westfield, Indiana, and Kansas City, Missouri.

The America’s Best Indy Challenge will bring All Star cheer teams back to the Indianapolis area, but the competition will be held a week earlier than last year and move to the Grand Park Sports Campus, about 35 minutes away from its previous home in downtown Indianapolis.

The 2025 America’s Best Indy Challenge will take place Dec. 13, and all of the action will be broadcast live on Varsity TV!

At America’s Best, the goal is to be the best at whatever you do, and the organization will be there to recognize the best when it comes to skills, performances, grades in school, community service and more.

Enjoy complete coverage of the 2025 America’s Best Indy Challenge, as All Star cheer teams go head-to-head with their sights set on obtaining points to The Varsity Cheer League and a bid to one of the prestigious end-of-season championships!

What To Know About The Grand Park Sports Campus

As the America’s Best Indy Challenge returns to the Indianapolis area in 2025, it gives competitors the convenience and fun of the big city and the familiarity of an area that frequently hosts top-tier cheer events, but also the comforts of the smaller city of Westfield, Indiana.

The new backdrop also might be a refreshing change for competitors and a chance to shine in a venue they’ve never visited.

Two decades ago, the Grand Park Sports Campus was just a vision. It opened in 2014, and the 400-acre property now is a destination for all kinds of sporting events and is the official home of the Indianapolis Colts Training Camp during the summer.

The facility welcomes more than 2.5 million visitors each year to enjoy its 31 multi-purpose fields, 26 baseball/softball diamonds, 377,000-square foot events center, three full-size indoor fields, office space and a full-service restaurant/bar.

Since it’s kind of new territory for the America’s Best crowd, here’s some important information about the Grand Park Sports Campus: Directions | Campus Map | Virtual Tour | Hotels

Things To Do In Westfield, Indiana

It’s not quite Indianapolis, but it’s close enough to enjoy the convenience of the airport, the attractions of the big city and the familiarity of the area from past visits, while getting to see a new city with cozier vibes.

Though Westfield is on the smaller side, Grand Park is celebrated as the largest youth sports complex in the country, and the area welcomes millions of visitors each year to compete, spectate or see the Indianapolis Colts prepare for the upcoming NFL season.

Beyond the vast Grand Park campus, there are many things to enjoy in Westfield – hiking and biking trails, historic buildings and museums, a nature center, winery/brewery, golf, shopping and more.

The food scene in Westfield is pretty eclectic, too, offering a little bit of everything – pizza, beer, pasta, comfort food, steak, seafood, Japanese, pub food, Mexican and more. Something for everyone!

If there’s time to make the short trek to Indianapolis proper, the choices are endless.

Unfortunately, the Colts will be on the road in Seattle during the America’s Best Indy Challenge in 2025, but you can eat away the disappointment with some delightful Indiana cuisine.

Did you know Indiana is famous for pork tenderloin sandwiches? And pulled pork and square donuts and craft beer? And sugar cream pie?

Among the many delicious restaurants in Indianapolis is St. Elmo Steak House, home of the city’s most celebrated dish, a famous and fiery shrimp cocktail. If that’s doesn’t quite fit your taste, HERE is a comprehensive list of the all the options, courtesy of VisitIndy.com.

There’s more than just food in the area, of course.

You also can enjoy all things Indianapolis 500/Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the Indianapolis Zoo, White River State Park, museums, ghost tours and so much history, as the city was founded in 1820.

Since it’s the holiday season, here’s all you need to know to celebrate the right way in Indianapolis!
