The 2026 Spirit Cheer Grand Nationals are finally here! With elite cheer teams hitting the mat on Jan. 10-11, the competition is fierce in Atlantic City, NJ. 

With some of the best competition from the Northeast flocking to Atlantic City, the weekend is sure to be full of action. 

Held at the Atlantic City Convention Center, there is plenty of room for teams to take the mat to showcase their routines and look for the promise of bids to the elite end-of-season competitions. 

With a plethora of fully paid, at-large and eligible team qualification bids on the line, fans should expect the best routines of the season to bring their A-game to New Jersey. 

Competition will span from Jan 10-11 and will be streamed live on VarsityTV! With 600 points up for grabs in The Varsity Cheer League, fans will not want to miss any of the action to come!

Bids Up For Grabs At The 2026 Cheer Spirit Grand Nationals

• 2 full-paid bids and 4 at-large bids at The Cheerleading Worlds 2026
• 3 paid bids and 12 at-large bids to The Summit 2026
• 3 paid bids and 8 at-large bids to The D2 Summit 2026
• 1 paid bid and 5 at-large bids to The Youth Summit 2026
• 5 at-large bids to The Recreational Summit 2026
• 2 paid bids and top three teams in eligible divisions qualify to The Regional Summit 2026

The Varsity Cheer League 

The Varsity Cheer League is the official ranking system for the sport of All Star cheerleading, changing the conversation from “Who won the weekend?” to “Who ranks at the top this season?”

Every All Star elite team in Youth, Junior and Senior divisions will be included in the Varsity Cheer League.

Team rankings are determined by the point system displayed here. 

At each Varsity All Star event your team completes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value. 

At the end of the season, your six best Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final rank.

In total, 92 winners will be recognized from first to third place across each region.

One champion will be crowned in each of the five regions across the six eligible divisions and two League 6 conferences. Champions will win cash and prizes!
