The University of Minnesota dance team's elite talent is scheduled to take the stage at the UCA & UDA College National Championships 2026 this weekend, January 16-18 in Orlando.

From Small Coed Cheer to DIA Pom, and even Goldy Gopher, the University of Minnesota is used to being amongst the top teams in the country across specialties.

Their dance team has reached particularly high honors under National Dance Association College Coach of the Year Amanda Gaines, returning in 2026 for a chance at a 24th national championship and a potential fourth DIA Pom win in a row.

Minnesota Dance is one of the most loved teams at the UDA College Nationals, they stun year-in and year-out with their showstopping skill. Here's when they compete.

Minnesota Spirit Squad Schedule At UCA/UDA College Nationals 2026

  • Minnesota will compete in the Small Coed DIA Cheer Game Day semifinals on Jan. 16 at 9:42 a.m. (Adventhealth Arena – South).
  • Minnesota will compete in the DIA Jazz prelims on Jan. 16 at 4:54 p.m. (State Farm Field House).
  • Minnesota will compete in the DIA Pom semifinals on Jan. 17 at 9:24 a.m. (State Farm Field House).
  • Minnesota will compete in the Small Coed IA Cheer semifinals on Jan. 17 at 1:54 p.m. (Adventhealth Arena – South).
  • Minnesota’s Goldy Gopher will compete in the DIA Mascot competition on Jan. 17 at 5:53 p.m. (Adventhealth Arena – South).
