The wait is over. The inaugural weekend of the DII UCA National School Band Championship has arrived. This January 30–February 1 in Orlando, Florida, these bands will have the opportunity to bring their game day traditions to life on the nationals stage! Here's what you should know when cheering on your favorite teams:
2026 UCA National School Band Championship Teams:
Pep Band Divison:
These teams will bring their game day performances straight to the field—giving you an exciting way to cheer alongside your school traditions and experience others. Here’s who will be competing:
- Bishop Amat High School
- Goodpasture High School
- New Hope High School
- Briarwood High School
- Burncoat High School
- Father Ryan High School
Burncoat High School enters the weekend as the reigning pep band champions. Tune in live to see if they can defend their title and claim the top spot once again!
Spirit Program Game Day Live:
An exciting way to incorporate all aspects of your schools spirit squads. Teams have the opportunity to incorporate there band into there performance working together to give fans the full game day experience. Here are the schools that have excited to bring all three teams to this year's championship:
- Christ Presbyterian Academy
- Burncoat High School
- Goodpasture High School
- New Hope High School
- Bishop Amat High School
- Briarwood Christian School
This electrifying division brings live music and creativity to every performance—an experience you won’t want to miss. Catch these teams competing LIVE on Friday, January 30, from 8:30–9:25 AM and Saturday, January 31, from 9:30–10:25 AM in the Athletic Center.
