Coastal at the Capitol Super Nationals returns to Washington D.C., this time at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center , and you don’t want to miss a minute of the excitement.
All of the action Feb. 21-22 will be broadcast live on Varsity TV!
Since 1999, Coastal Cheer & Dance has been putting on regional events up and down the East Coast, giving competitors the stage to showcase their skills and talents – from one-day events to the organization’s premier Coastal at the Capitol Grand Nationals.
This is your chance to watch your favorite Division I and Division II All Star and school cheer and dance teams compete on stage, while hoping to secure points to The Varsity Cheer League by Varsity All Star and a bid to one of the prestigious end-of-season championships!

What To Know About The Walter E. Washington Convention Center
The Walter E. Washington Convention Center is a 2.3 million square foot event space in Washington, D.C.
It is noted for its permanent collection of contemporary art, the largest of any convention center in the United States and includes the work of Sam Gilliam, Sol LeWitt, Jaune Quick-to-See Smith, Sarah Sze, and Carrie Mae Weems.
You can access the convention center by metro via the Mt. Vernon Square/7th Street-Convention Center station served by the Green and Yellow lines.
If you're driving yourself, there is parking available at multiple parking garages located around the space with hourly and daily rates.

The Varsity Cheer League
The Varsity Cheer League is the official ranking system for the sport of All Star cheerleading, changing the conversation from “Who won the weekend?” to “Who ranks at the top this season?”
Every All Star elite team in Youth, Junior and Senior divisions will be included in the Varsity Cheer League.
Team rankings are determined by the point system displayed here.
At each Varsity All Star event your team completes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value.
At the end of the season, your six best Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final rank.
In total, 92 winners will be recognized from first to third place across each region.
One champion will be crowned in each of the five regions across the six eligible divisions and two League 6 conferences. Champions will win cash and prizes!
