We’re headed back to your favorite place for the 2020 UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship!

The best of the best Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Junior High cheerleaders from around the country will be Disney-bound as they head to Orlando, Florida, for a chance to compete at a national title and the coveted white satin jackets!

When: February 7-9 starting Friday at 8 AM ET

Where: ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL

Get your Mickey ears ready, because you're visiting the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando!

The 2020 UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship will be held within the HP Field House, the Visa Athletic Center, and The Arena which will be split into Arena South (Red), Arena North (Yellow), Arena West (Green), and Arena East (Blue). Throughout the weekend, there will be a seventh venue, Champions Stadium (Baseball Stadium), for Semi-Finalists and Finalists announcements.

 If you need to take a break from the competition, you can stop by the ESPN Clubhouse Shop or grab some lunch at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Grill, which is connected to the Visa Athletic Center! There are even food trucks located behind the HP Field House for quick meals before you have to head back for awards. Take a virtual tour of the facility before you arrive to navigate the space like a pro.

Game Day Is Growing!

Friday is all about game day! Teams will bring their sideline game day traditions to Orlando and showcase them center stage for a chance at a UCA National Championship title.

The Game Day competition will kick off bright and early at 8 AM ET on Friday morning. All Prelims, Semi-Finals, and Finals for the Game Day divisions will take place on Friday.

Last season, more than 400 teams competed across 17 different Game Day divisions for one spirited day of competition. In 2020, spirit squads will have the chance to compete in the brand new Game Day Live division!

Inspired by the sights and sounds of a school’s Friday-night football game, this new division takes the current Game Day Competition format – Band Chant, Situational Sideline, Crowd Leading and Fight Song – to the next level with LIVE MUSIC from your pep band.

UCA Game Day is bigger and better this season and we can’t wait to see who takes home Game Day national titles!

Also on Friday, Prelims, and Semi-Finals for teams competing in Small Varsity Non Tumbling, Small Varsity Coed Non Tumbling, Medium Varsity Non Tumbling will take place in Arena South (Red).

White Satin Jackets Are Up For Grabs

The 20 new UCA Game Day Champions will be crowned on Friday but the weekend of exciting cheerleading action is just getting started.

Saturday morning, teams will be getting ready to take the floor in the Preliminary and Semi-Final competition starting at 8 AM ET.

Hundreds of the nation's most talented teams have been working all year long for this weekend, and the first step towards championship glory starts here. Fourteen divisions will move on to compete again in Finals Saturday evening.

Championship Sunday

On Sunday, teams will shine on stage for Finals of the 2020 UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship. Finals will take place in the HP Field House, the Visa Athletic Center, and Arena South (Red).

These teams have put months of training into these routines and it all comes down to this.
