2020 Cheerleader's Choice: School Spirit Spotlight

It's time for YOU to decide what School teams you would like to be featured on Varsity TV during the upcoming season! School cheer fans will nominate FIVE fan-favorite teams who will be highlighted in exclusive in-depth features.

New this season, Varsity TV will be releasing the 2020 Cheerleader's Choice: School Spirit Spotlight winners, along with the newest Varsity TV documentary Game Day: NC State LIVE on Saturday, September 12th!

1. Nominate

Help us shine a light on the teams that elevate the sport, champion their communities, drive competitive excellence and make the world a brighter place. Share the background, tradition, and community service initiatives. We want to know what makes your program special and the more details you have, the better! 

Nominations will open on Monday, August 10th.

2. Top 20 Finalist Selected

Our Varsity TV panel will read all the nominations and hand-select 20 finalists to move on to the final fan vote!

3. Vote, Vote, Vote!

There will be 20 finalists, but only FIVE will have the opportunity to call themselves 2020 Cheerleader's Choice winners! You can vote once a day, every day during the voting period. So get creative and get spirited - make some posters and rally social media, your school, family, and friends to vote your favorite team on to victory!

4. LIVE Show Winners Revealed

The five School teams that receive the most votes will be featured this season on Varsity TV! All 5 champions will be revealed on Saturday, September 12th, 2020. But that's not all! The newest Varsity TV documentary Game Day: NC State will be revealed for the first time ever!

Rules & Restrictions

Anyone may submit a nomination. School programs nominated must be located in the United States in order to be eligible to win. Finalists will be selected based on creativity, originality, community involvement and uniqueness. Multiple nominations for the same team will be taken into consideration. Finalists will consist of 20 school teams. Votes are limited to one per person, per day. The five programs receiving the most votes will win.
