4 Teams That Will Be Vying For Titles At UCA & UDA Mile High

The 2019 UCA & UDA Mile High Championship is an exclusive first look at the teams who will be competing for a set of white satin jackets in February at the 2019 UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship & UDA National Dance Team Championship.

In just a few days, teams will take the stage in Denver, Colorado, to debut their new routines and see how they match up against the competition.  

As you settle in to watch the competition live on Varsity TV, be sure to keep an eye out on these four teams who will be vying for titles and a bid to one of the end-of-season championship events.

1. Thunder Ridge High School

Thunder Ridge claimed the top spot in Medium Varsity Coed at this event last season and placed second behind McCracken County High School at the national championship in 2019. Do they have what it takes to win gold again this year?

2. Rock Canyon High School

Rock Canyon is set to bring six routines to the 2019 UCA & UDA Mile High Championship. The talented program captured multiple titles in Denver last season and will be one to watch again this weekend. Rock Canyon dance made it to Semi-Finals in Small Varsity Pom & Jazz at NDTC last season and the Jaguars claimed the bronze medallions in Large Varsity Dll at NHSCC.

3. Peak Athletics

Peak Athletics took four UDA championship titles at the 2018 UCA & UDA Mile High Championship and the Colorado program is back to do it again. Keep an eye out as this program takes the stage to debut their new choreography.

4. Smoky Hill High School

Smoky Hill High School claimed the Varsity Game Day title in Denver last season and had an impressive showing in Orlando placing in the top five in Small Varsity Game Day at NHSCC. Be sure to tune in live to see if this spirited team has what it takes to climb the ranks this season.
