For the fourth year in a row, spirited school dance teams will bring their sideline traditions to the stage for a chance to claim a championship title at the 2022 UDA National Dance Team Championship in Orlando, Florida.

The UDA Game Day Championship was created as a way for teams to showcase and compete with elements they are doing at their schools and in their communities all season long.

High school and junior high dance teams will be judged on three different sections: Fight Song, Spirit Raising Performance, and a Performance Routine. All must be completed within a total time of three minutes.

Be on the lookout for tradition through the fight song, appropriate energy during the spirit-raising performance, and strong dynamics in the performance routine.

In 2021, seven spirited teams were crowned as the 2021 UDA Game Day Champions.
