The stage is set for another grand weekend of cheerleading at the 2024 Encore Grand Nationals in Houston, TX! The 2024-2025 Encore Championships season is just getting underway, and next up is the 2024 Encore Grand Nationals, which will take place at the George R. Brown Convention Center on the east side of downtown Houston.

The holiday lights aren't the only thing shining bright this December! The bright lights will be on in full force as teams get ready to take the stage at the 2024 Encore Grand Nationals in Houston, TX! The stars will be out in full force with a loaded slate of Texas programs looking to make a statement in their home state, along with multiple programs traveling to compete with some of the best! Teams have the opportunity to get an early start in The Varsity Cheer League with 600 points on the line, and teams also have the opportunity to secure an early bid to end-of-season events!

The second event on the 2024-2025 Encore Championships schedule is the 2024 Encore Grand Nationals, which will take place at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, and it will give the best cheer AND dance teams the chance to shine in the Lone Star State.

The month of December was a busy one for All Star cheerleaders all across the nation. 59 All Star Cheer competitions took place just in December alone! We saw programs across the country compete at Grand National events, Classics, Challenges, Showdowns, and even virtual events. Teams gave it their all on the competition mat walking away with first place wins, significant points towards The League by Varsity All Star, and some even won bids to The Cheerleading Worlds & The Summit. The STATE Daytona Beach Nationals heads back to Daytona Beach, Florida, in 2024, and even if you can’t be there in person, Varsity TV has you covered with live coverage from The Ocean Center.

Another Grand Nationals weekend is in the books as the 2023 Encore Grand Nationals comes to a close. Southwest teams had the opportunity to get one more hit to end 2023 on a high note. Encore Grand Nationals allowed teams to rack up 600 points towards The League by Varsity All Star and continue the jump ahead before The Leaderboard drops on January 9, 2024.

The last opportunity for teams to win points for The League by Varsity All Star in 2023 is complete! December 16-17, 2023, 43 Senior Worlds teams competed at four competitions for an opportunity to take home some of the highest point values of the 2023-2024 season.
